Rooted
From Overwhelm to Grounded Wisdom.
~ A 6 Month Group Process ~
For the woman who is done being overwhelmed, uncomfortable and putting herself last. For the woman who is ready to live grounded, trust her inner knowing, and feel at home and at ease in her body.
~ A Love Letter and an Invitation ~
Dear One,
Many women today are holding it all together with immense strength and love. Managing work to-do lists, caring for families, squeezing in moments of self-care, being a supportive friend, and keeping homes organized—navigating a whirlwind of responsibilities. This immense pressure and mental load often manifests in our bodies, creating tension and stress.
The Challenge
Moments for yoga, exercise, or a healing chat with a friend might offer temporary relief, but it’s all too easy to be pulled back into the overwhelm. The body feels the strain—whether it’s tension in the back or neck, headaches, or digestive issues. With so much to manage, it can feel like you’re always in your body, but only because your awareness is drawn to what feels uncomfortable or in need of fixing—the discomforts or the “imperfections.”
There’s an innate part within you that knows life could be more satisfying and different. Yet, waking up often feels like facing a never-ending to-do list, pulling you away from that deeper knowing. That part of you senses that there’s another way, a way that moves beyond the overwhelm into something more satisfying and more aligned with your true self.
Yet, this whisper can be drowned out by the inner voice urging more organization and discipline or convincing you that it’s simply not the right time to prioritize self-care. You might look back on moments when you had the space for long regular practices, or dream of a future where you’ll have more freedom. But even now, there are ways to reconnect with those spacious, creative, calm and wise parts of yourself—small, intentional shifts that bring more ease and alignment into your everyday life.
A New Way Forward
My love, I see you and I have been there. I’ve felt the mind’s relentless spin, the overwhelm, the perfectionism, the worry. I longed for the grounded ease that a deep yoga practice used to bring but found myself caught in the whirlwind, only able to snatch brief moments of feeling grounded. I had beautiful times of presence, but they were often eclipsed by the grind and tension.
Already a yoga teacher, I knew how to ground myself, yet I couldn’t maintain it. The tension manifested in my body as heartburn, headaches, and painful cycles, though we all have our own version of how the body carries tension. I needed a change, but I couldn’t just walk away from my responsibilities.
So, I found a way. I revisited and expanded my somatic training, integrated my yoga therapy training, and began to apply my knowledge in tiny, meaningful doses woven into my daily life. I let go of the notion that practices must be big to be valid, embracing the power of small, consistent shifts. I regrew my roots—deeper and stronger—by living my practice, rather than placing it on a to-do list.
Waking up with anxiety became the exception rather than the norm. Groundedness became my baseline, and frazzled moments became so less frequent. I developed a personal path to grounded so that when it does happen, I can find my way back quickly. I started listening to my body’s signals and found ease and comfort in my own skin. The tension dissolved, making way for pleasure, creativity, and presence. I became more gentle with myself and more present with the important people in my life. I rested when I needed to rest and required less and less soothing and numbing.
I began incorporating these ideas and practices with my private clients, and they too experienced how small shifts could lead to profound changes. This has inspired me to create a group offering—not only to make these foundational practices and ideas more accessible, but also to harness the unique power of group work.
In a supportive circle of women, we find gentle accountability, encouragement, and most importantly, the understanding that while we are each unique, our struggles are shared. Many of the challenges we face stem from systemic cultural values and stories. Together, we can more effectively unearth and weed out these old narratives, making space for true nourishment and growth. Together, we dive in to cultivate deeper and stronger roots.
There is another way.

Program Layout
Module 1: Agency of the Mind and Shifting Awareness
We begin by gaining a deeper understanding of how the mind works, the ways our awareness has been conditioned, and learn practices to shift this conditioning. This foundational work helps us settle the nervous system, allowing us to begin moving our focus toward the body and start tuning into somatic awareness, creating a stable foundation for deeper work.
Module 2: Learning the Language of the Body
We continue to deepen our understanding of the signals our bodies send and learn how to sit with, interpret, and respond to them. Through gradual practice, we develop a more nuanced and integrated connection with our somatic wisdom, laying the groundwork for more intuitive living.
Module 3: Integrating into Key Areas of Life
We focus on applying everything we've learned to essential aspects of our lives, including nutrition, movement/exercise, relationships, and our menstrual cycles. We deepen the connection between our body’s wisdom and these areas, ensuring that our grounding and intuition continue to guide us. As we align more closely with our true selves, we enter a positive spiral, where each aligned choice reinforces our ability to stay grounded and present.
