A Women’s Immersion in the Moroccan Sahara Desert
October 10–17, 2026
8 days | 7 nights
Embrace the Elements
Held through yoga & somatic movement, guided meditation, and breathwork
“In the desert there is a freedom impossible to imagine.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
An Invitation…
There are places on the earth where perception shifts like the sands. Where the veil is thin. Where vision does not need to be summoned, it begins to reveal itself.
The desert has always been one of those places.
This gathering is a liminal passage — immersive, potent, and rare.
At its heart is an initiation into Fire & Air.
Fire as discernment… the capacity to see clearly what belongs, what no longer does, and what is asking to be released. A refining fire that clarifies and knows how to pause, listen, and respond.
Air as breath, movement, and choice. As the currents that shape attention and orient us toward what matters. Air brings perspective and creates space. It allows direction to emerge without urgency.
Together, Fire & Air clarify. They invite honesty rather than intensity, presence rather than effort. In the vastness and stillness of the desert, what distracts begins to fall away. What is essential comes into focus.
This immersion is a passage into that clarity — supported by movement, breath, and somatic awareness woven gently through the days. The work here is not about pushing or purifying, but about refining perception so that action, when it comes, arises from alignment rather than pressure.
We are gathering to meet this threshold together.
We gather in a space held through feminine energetics — in attunement with land and moment — that know how to stay with what is emerging, without rushing discomfort away or demanding performance.
Each woman is supported to meet her own threshold, at her own pace.
Plant Allies
We will be working with plant allies as companions in this immersion, offered with care and discernment. Rose will be our primary plant ally during our time together, supporting clarity of heart, devotion without self-sacrifice, and fierceness held with tenderness. Rose holds vision with discernment, passion without destruction, devotion without martyrdom
Additional plant allies may be available for those who feel drawn to work with them, offered selectively and with guidance. These offerings will be shaped by the land, the group, and the moment.

The Venues
We begin in Marrakech at Riad Jadis, a traditional Moroccan riad located in the historic heart of the medina, just steps from Djemaa El Fna. The riad’s lush courtyard and rooftop spaces offer a calm place to arrive, rest, and orient before traveling south.
Our time in the desert will be spent at a luxury camp located in the Erg Chegaga region — one of the most remote dune systems in Morocco. Reached by traveling through the dunes, this region offers vastness, quiet, and a deep sense of separation from the known world.
The camp has been chosen for its simplicity, comfort, and its ability to support rest, presence, and the work we are undertaking together.

Your Facilitators
This immersion is guided by Sarah Fox and Sara Bowman, trusted collaborators whose shared work is rooted in embodied practice, relationship to place, and the capacity to hold space in a way that is grounded, responsive, and precise.
Sarah Fox is a yoga teacher and teacher trainer, with deep roots in movement, herbal medicine, and land-based practice. Her work is grounded in lived relationship with the natural world and shaped by years of guiding others in practices that cultivate listening, steadiness, and embodied presence. She brings a deep respect for place, rhythm, and the intelligence of the land into the spaces she holds.
Sara Bowman is a yoga therapist and somatic practitioner whose work centers on subtle energy, feminine energetics, and embodied perception. Her approach supports women in staying oriented to their own internal experience and to the signals that arise when attention turns inward, particularly in immersive and liminal settings.
Together, they hold a field that is attentive rather than directive — one that supports depth without pressure and allows each woman to meet what is here with clarity and care.
Additional facilitators may join us during our time together and will be announced closer to the retreat.
