INWARD
Reorientate around your own center of gravity. And live from there.
Stay connected to what you feel, know, and need—without pausing your life to do it.
You want to feel centered, spacious, and fully here.
You also want to keep showing up for the people, work, and responsibilities that matter to you.
We’ve been taught to choose: stay on top of what needs us, or step away and make space for ourselves.
But your life is not going to stop needing you 🤍
Your attention may be moving in twelve directions before you’ve finished your first cup of coffee.
There’s the work that depends on you, the people you love, decisions to make, details to remember, things you are quite literally responsible for keeping in motion, and and and…
And you’re probably very good at it.
You’ve learned to anticipate what will be needed, juggle several people and possibilities at once, and keep moving toward whatever needs your attention next.
Someone asks what you want, and you can offer a thorough account of everyone and everything the decision will affect.
But what do you want?
By the time you’ve factored in everyone else, that can feel strangely hard to locate.
We can’t keep asking women to carry entire ecosystems — and offer them an hour of self-care when it becomes too much.
You have been taught to track what everyone needs. Read the room. Manage your reactions. Explain what you feel.
This is the kind of thing women get praised for.
And many of the practices intended to bring you back to yourself still happen outside your actual life — in the yoga class, the therapy session, the meditation, the hour you have managed to protect.
Those spaces can genuinely help.
But then Tuesday starts.
What you could feel clearly when everything slowed down becomes harder to access when the conversation, deadline, child, or decision needs you now.
So you step away to recover yourself, then return to the same conditions that pulled you away.
INWARD doesn’t ask you to escape modern life. It’s practice for participating in it without being consumed by it.
The difference between mentally carrying your life and inhabiting it can be subtle.
We have been taught to turn experience into an individual problem to understand and solve.
Name the feeling. Analyze the response. Explain why it happened. Decide what to do.
This is useful, we don’t want to do away with it. We want to add to it.
Because when interpretation becomes the only way we know how to relate to our experience, self-awareness can become self-monitoring.
You can spend years thinking about yourself without learning how to experience yourself directly.
INWARD doesn’t ask you to think less. It restores contact before interpretation — because interpretation lands differently when it comes after contact instead of replacing it.
Attention is where we begin. Perception is what opens.
The first practices in INWARD guide you in noticing where your attention has gone and bringing it back into direct contact with your experience.
Not to force your attention inward permanently.
Attention is meant to move — toward yourself, another person, a responsibility, or the wider world.
The deeper capacity is range: being able to move inward and outward more deliberately and, when you need to, hold both.
You can perceive another person’s experience without making it the only information in the room.
You can notice what is happening inside you before urgency, expectation, or habit decides what happens next.
What Inward Is
INWARD is a private progression through seven somatic awareness practices designed to become usable and create change in everyday life.
Each practice stands on its own and builds on what came before. Together, they develop your capacity for direct perception, internal reference, and a wider range of awareness.
We meet every other week so you have time to work with each practice inside your own life. Because the process is 1:1, we can slow down when something needs more time and respond directly to the ways your attention and awareness organize themselves.
The practices are simple and repeatable. Over time, they begin to feel less like something you do and more like capacities you know how to access.
The intention is not to create occasional moments of calm outside your real life. It is to change what becomes available inside the ordinary moments of it.
What begins to change
Know what to do when your mind starts spinning — and how to return to center in real time.
Beyond that, what changes will look different for everyone. It may look like…
Noticing the no before you have explained it away.
Another person’s disappointment not becoming more authoritative than your own experience.
Decisions coming from clearer contact with what you feel, know, and want—not only from urgency, pressure, or expectation.
Feeling more space inside your experience and more choice in moments that once felt automatic.
Being able to reliably touch the place of peace inside you.
Not because your life asks less of you.
Because you have become more available to yourself inside it.
When we recover access to our own perception, knowing, and authority, more of our life force can move toward what we are here to tend, create, protect, and change.
This is for you if…
You’ve explored meditation, yoga, therapy, or somatic work — felt what’s possible there — but it hasn’t stayed in your everyday life or made the deeper shifts you want.
You’re exhausted by feeling mentally “on” all the time, and want more space inside the life you already have.
You notice how quickly your attention moves into what’s needed, what’s expected, what makes sense — even when something in you wants something different.
You’re tired of the physical tension that comes with keeping a whole life moving — and want your body to feel as relaxed on a regular Wednesday night as it does on vacation..
You’re not looking for another thing to manage or keep up with… you’re looking for something that changes the way your life actually feels from the inside.
You’re done with prescriptions meant for someone else — you want a more direct relationship with your own knowing.
Where this comes from
My dedication is to supporting women in recovering direct access to their own perception, knowing, authority, and agency—through the body, breath, movement, and energetic system.
My primary areas of training and practice are yoga therapy, somatic practice, meditation mentorship, and ocean immersion—different strands of the same inquiry I've followed for more than twenty years: how awareness, energy, and connection move through the layers of our experience.
I've always had one foot in the mystical and one in the practical. I don't think we need to choose between them.
Over time, I became less interested in collecting methods and more interested in what's happening underneath them—what allows us to feel ourselves directly, what makes that contact disappear, and how it becomes available again while life is happening.
INWARD grew from that inquiry.
You are not one more thing to manage.
Your life is full because it contains people, responsibilities, and things you genuinely care about.
INWARD gives you a way to stay connected to what you feel, know, and want without pausing your life to do it—so you can be more than the person keeping everything moving.
Your needs get to belong in the life you're holding, too.
Seven private sessions.
Four months.
One process to reorientate
